LEGAL CHARTER & COMPLIANCE
Anti-money laundering compliance, notary escrow requirements, title conveyance guidelines, and legal disclosures for international investors.
Client Identification (KYC & AML)
In compliance with international financial statutes and anti-money laundering (AML) frameworks, all transactions initiated within the Avant-Garde registry are subject to strict client due diligence.
Patrons acquiring properties or vehicles exceeding regional thresholds must submit notarized identification, proof of source of funds, and legal corporate registration logs (if acquiring assets through a corporate structure, trust, or holding firm). These parameters are reviewed by our legal counsel before escrow release.
International Asset Conveyance
Foreign ownership of land and mechanical assets varies significantly depending on the local jurisdiction of the listing:
European Union (France, Italy, Spain)
Non-EU residents can acquire freehold property but may require the establishment of a local real estate holding company (such as an SCI in France). Stamp duties range between 5% and 7.5%.
United Arab Emirates (Dubai Marina)
Freehold property zones allow 100% foreign ownership. Registry transactions are logged directly with the Dubai Land Department (DLD) with a standard 4% transfer fee.
United States (California, New York)
No citizenship restrictions apply for property purchases. Transactions are facilitated through licensed escrow corporations. Annual property holding taxes are approximately 1% - 1.25%.
Japan (Kyoto, Tokyo)
Foreign nationals can purchase land and buildings with zero structural ownership restrictions. All title transfers are registered with the Legal Affairs Bureau.
Escrow & Conveyance Security
**Earnest Deposits**: A standard 10% earnest money deposit is required to lock listings from the active registry. These funds are held in certified escrow accounts managed by independent notary representatives.
**Title Clearance**: All vehicles are sold with clear titles, certified odometer readings, and full history checks. Real estate assets undergo complete structural and zoning verification, ensuring the buyer receives a deed free from pre-existing liens or municipal disputes.
